Apparently Once A Book Goes Into The Public Domain,

publishers everywhere are in a hurry to print copies or make them available as digital works,

but here is the thing, publishers then do not give much though into the cover of the book, would Mary Shelley really put her hand on the knee of Frankenstein's monster?

and what is this all about? Jane Austin's British love story emblazoned with a picture of an American flag?

there are so many ill thought out covers, purely from a scientific point of view, a cockroach does not truly metamorphize, cockroaches undergo an incomplete metamorphosis that consists of three stages: egg, nymph (immature), and adult, the active nymphs that hatch from the eggs are much smaller than adults, wingless, and usually lighter in colour, nymphs periodically shed their skin as they develop to the adult stage, the reason it is an incomplete metamorphosis is that there is not a pupae stage, and even that is a generalisation, some cockroach species bear live young, anyway for more howlers, 50 of them have a look here at the Literary Club.
