Every High Tide,

a little bit of England Disappears into the waves,

which bit? you might ask, it is Covehithe, a village on the coast of Suffolk in the UK. It's been there a thousand years, but is doomed to be completely washed away by the sea somewhere between thirty and eighty years from now, Tom Scott explains, and single-handedly turns Covehithe into a tourist attraction against its will, apparently both the local council and government turned down plans for the land owner to put sea defences in place, which seems a bit strange, but there it is.
