This Is The Hualai River, In China,

famous for being the narrowest river in the world,

it may look like a stream but it is in fact a river the difference is that a river is a natural flow of running water that follows a well-defined, permanent path, usually within a valley, a stream (also called a brook or a creek) is a natural flow of water that follows a more temporary path that is usually not in a valley, photographs sohu.com

the Hualai River, on the Inner Mongolia Plateau in north China, is over 17-kilometers-long but has an average width of just 15 centimetres, at its narrowest, it is just 4-cm-wide, according to Chinese experts, it has been flowing through the Gongger grassland for at least 10,000 years. Apparently, it stems from an underground spring and flows into the Dalai Nur Lake in the Hexigten Grasslands nature reserve

if you want the shortest river in the world some claim it to be the Reprua River in Abkhazian: Аԥрҩа, Georgia in the Gagra District of Abkhazia, Georgia, at just 27 metres long can there really be a shorter river? well maybe, almost as wide as it is long the Tamborasi River it is a river in Tamborasi, Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, located approximately 70 km north of the city of Kolaka, with a length of 20m and an approximate width of 15m, it seems like a pretty good contender for the title.
