An Update On Our Television,

in case you missed it,

our television had developed a green patch over the past few months and started to appear in roughly the center of the screen,

we spoke to a company that specialises in LG repairs about the green patch, to which they replied it is a very common problem that LG knows about! just type 'LG green spot' on the Internet to see what I mean, the price they quoted for a new screen was £2,200 plus fitting! speaking to LG they said that they would fit a new screen, charging a token amount as our television is out of guarantee but still relatively new, well less than 3 years old at the time, for £500,

fast forward to today, £500 paid to LG, television,

in the downstairs hall,

the courier company arrived with this huge container,

the front of the container removed, and television placed inside,

box closed,

and it was on its way to LG for a new screen, so from now on it is watching television on our lap top, which is a bit of a pain because the volume although turn up to 100% is still so quiet I can not hear it, so it is wear headphones or watch programs with subtitles! having said watch television on the laptop, it took me an age in the afternoon to work out how to watch Netflix, BBC player and UKTV Play, but all are now up and running,

so in the late afternoon/evening I watched Enemy Lines, a group of soldiers has to retrieve a scientist from behind enemy lines, hence the title, a tad long and in many places so unbelievable, but I will not say where, well I do not want to spoil it!

I followed that with Outcast, whish was remarkably good, a young disposed Chinses prince meets a crusader who trains and fights with him, great all action film, after Diana return home from work it was feet up for a New Tricks, a coffee and a chat, before we were off to bed.
