the watch is a collaboration between Jacob & Co. and Bugatti, and houses a functional miniature reproduction of the Bugatti Chiron’s W16-cylinder engine!

and it is not short on bling, as the watch features no less than 190 baguette white diamonds, 109 baguette black sapphires and 42 baguette orange sapphires, which are all invisibly set in the 18K white gold tonneau case, Jacob & Co. said the gem-setters used new proprietary techniques and advanced technologies to properly affix the rare stones,

it comes equipped with Jacob & Co.’s JCAM37 manual winding movement that comprises some 578 components. It’s suspended in four places with parts that resemble the actual automobile shocks from the Chiron and is clearly visible through the sapphire crystal window,

this is the bit I like, watching the micro cylinders move,

in fact I like it so much here is a second video the movement, one of the good things about Bugatti is that you do not have to own one of their cars to buy the watch, but they are only made in limited numbers, last year just 250 Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon timepieces were made, how much? $280,000, there has been a slight increase in price for this years model, it has gone up to $560,000, so for the cost of 4 watches you could buy the entry level Bugatti and have some change!
