photograph Sea Glass/Facebook, the clue is in the title Dead Sea, so how come this tree is not only alive but actually growing? the tree is within
swimming distance of the beach in Ein Bokek, an Israeli resort near Arad, lies
the iconic Dead Sea Salt Island, but the tree on it should not be there,
defying all the laws of nature, so what is happening? a local
artist who brought and “planted” the tree on the salt island as an original art
installation, apparently, he has been visiting the tree every day, putting mud
around its base to ensure that it gets all the nutrients needed to survive in
this extremely harsh environment, now while I would not want to stand on a rock and have my photograph taken, I would be quite happy posing by this tree, I am only amazed given how unusual this tree and island is that more people have not done so.
