Having Yesterday Watched A Film Packed With Special Effects,

I thought I would take a look at 'old school' special effects,


the type that captivated me as a kid, if you have time grab a coffee and have a look at the master of stop motion film photography, Ray Harryhausen, he did not of course invent stop-motion animation, but thanks to films ranging from Mighty Joe Young in (1949) to Jason and the Argonauts (1963) through Clash of the Titans in (1981), his name became synonymous with the technique, The Royal Ocean Film Society video above shows the techniques he used in the production of his stop motion films, the time it must have taken, amazing!
