Happy Birthday!

to Diana's Mum,

in the Philippines,

as it happens her birthday was on Christmas day,

but I only received the photographs last night,

and as you might imagine it was a huge double celebration!

back to Boxing day, Steve and Kai had arrived and I joined Steve with a beer, we again used Diana's telephone for the indoor photographs, and well spotted, I am wearing one of the super colourful shirts that Steve and Kai gave me yesterday as a Christmas present, 

the girls went with one of these,

I am not sure what it is called, but it was a mocktail, only 4% proof, 

'Cheers!', from the girls,

all set,

time for our Boxing day lunch,

open the bubbly!

and pour,

'Cheers!',

a little sip,

and begin our lunch,

we had a selection of salmon and prawn mousse,

with halved lobster tails,

 and prawns in blankets,

with a salad,

eyes down and tuck in! after a long break,

we had a main course of beef and gammon ham,

another 'Cheers!',

after another long break it was time for a sherry trifle,

and time for a couple of poses, from Diana,

and Kai, then the serious part of the evening, the races!

first pull the crackers, 

to see who would receive a coloured reindeer

it was time for reindeer races! as well as mini ten pin bowling, Diana made a video of the games that will be at the end of the post,

next cheese and crackers,

that Steve and Kai had brought with them,

it has to be said, 

the camembert was a bit lively! we rounded off the evening with another bottle of bubbly,

and this is a video that Kai made of our Christmas day at their home, in the late evening Steve and Kai said their farewells as they left to make their way home, many thanks to Steve and Kai for Christmas day and everything they brought round for Boxing day, and to Diana for preparing our feast today, and lastly, wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!
