In The Afternoon It Was Time For A Read And A Sherry,

it must be Sunday,

'Cheers!',

for our starter, chicken liver pate, with a onion relish, sliced red onions, radishes and toast,

eyes down and tuck in,

after a long break, roast duck with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself, 

another 'Cheers!', as we tuck in,

we rounded off the meal with a Bakewell cherry and almond tart, with cream,

lots of cream! later in the afternoon Steve and Kai called by, we chatted the afternoon away, after saying our goodbyes it was time for a few from Columbo, which are always fun to watch, 

then a real old film, A Fist Full of Dollars, as it happens I watched this in the cinema when it was first released, all the way back in 1964, after which we were off to bed.
