'The rumour quickly spread like wildfire on social media, with many concerned parents contacting the school district for clarification. Superintendent has reassured parents that there is no cause for alarm and that the safety and well-being of their children are their top priority, "We have thoroughly investigated the situation, and there is no evidence of any alien activity on our school grounds," Superintendent Killingbeck stated in a press conference. "We take all rumours seriously, but we also urge our community to be cautious when spreading information that has not been verified." the student responsible for starting the rumour has been appropriately disciplined, and the school district has taken steps to educate students on the importance of verifying information before sharing it', 

I would have thought it would have been easier to fake an illness to miss the test, but at least the students claim to fame could be that he wanted to imitate Orson Wells.
