with a walk in the park,
it was nice and warm in the sun,
we made our way to the gate that stops cars from entering this side of the park,
and this is what we were going to see, the farmers market,
almost clear blue skies,
the back to nature part of this area now growing well,
the mansion in the distance,
with a few tables and chairs at the side of it, by now we had discovered that although it was bright and sunny, the wind defiantly gave the day a bit of a chill,
we arrived at the farmers market area, which had remarkably few stalls in attendance,
the ones that were here had a good number of customers queueing up in front of them,
but the one that we had come for, selling cheesecake for Diana was not here,
only three or four along this side,
giving the stalls a bright splash of colour,
we made our way to the side of the building,
at the rear of it the big oak tree,
looking towards the bluebell wooded area,
and to the left, there were plenty of people here enjoying the day,
time for some liquid refreshment, a glass of bubbly, we had to wait to be called for Diana's coffee,
and here it is,
we snagged a bench just where the grass started,
and couple of Diana, landscape,
and portrait,
'Cheers!', from Diana to the clouds,
and one of myself,
and a portrait,
and landscape with the rear of the building,
we made a move for home,
a pose from myself,
and a panorama with Diana,
down the hill,
past the back to nature area,
towards the gate,
we had a letter to post,
and there it goes,
Diana has a fascination with dandelion seed heads,
one, two three and they were on their way to new grounds,
back home we had a huge leg of lamb for our Sunday roast,
and it was huge,
yummy! more than enough for today plus more than a few evenings meals in the weeks to come,
time for my sherry and read, another two short stories from Jorge Francisco Isidoro Luis Borges Acevedo, firstly The Waiting, followed by The God's Script,
time for our starter, lobster bisque soup,
and our main course, roast lamb with all the trimmings with gravy for Diana, sans gravy for myself,
'Cheers!',
we rounded the meal off with apple strudel and ice cream,
delicious! for the rest of the late afternoon and early evening we watched a couple of Columbo's, in the evening one from Midsomer Murder, after which Diana went to bed, she is on early starts for the next few days,
for myself I started on the dated but still excellent TV series Hornblower, before I too was off to bed.
