Midsomer Murder, Endeavour, Lewis to name just a few, going back in time I found this map for murder in London,
Eisner,
Manuel (2018) Interactive London Medieval Murder Map. University of Cambridge:
Institute of Criminology, retrieved from (https://www.vrc.crim.cam.ac.uk/vrcresearch/london-medieval-murder-map/lm...), each pin represents
the approximate location of one of 142 homicides cases in late medieval London.
Click on a pin to open a window that displays the story behind the event, based
on the original record produced by the Coroner. For more information on how to
use the map, visit
this page, you will have to look for it, but it appears there was a great rivalry
between two guilds, the saddlers and goldsmiths that resulted in a murder most
foul, there is even a murderous quarrel between tailors, and if your music upset the neighbours in one case it resulted in murder! Great insight into the crimes of the times as I looked
at so many arrows.
