I Find There Is Something Fascinating About Volcanoes,

not that I want to be on one when the fireworks begin!


but I am thankful to to Drone pilot Isak Finnbogaso for bringing to us the image above and the video below, the footage was taken in Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula which sat dormant for more than 800 years,

until March 2021, when a fissure vent appeared south of Fagradalsfjall mountain, which then became quiet, a couple of days ago a new eruption began, spewing dramatic currents of lava in an area north of Fagradalsfjall, near Litli-Hrútur, where this stunning footage was captured, You can see more of his footage of Iceland on YouTube and Instagram, what am amazing sight it must be.
