The Weather Forecast Was Good,

so glad rags on and a walk before lunch,

we decided to walk to the manor house,

it was a glorious day,

two events as well as the framers market in the park,

one a creepy carnival, the second a fun fair,

the wildlife section planted a few years ago looking good,

the rear of the mansion looked crowded,

and it was,

the first stall at the framers market,

the one selling potted plants,

I am not sure what these were,

but they looked bright amongst the others,

a few more before moving on,

not so many stalls here today,

but this was the one we were looking for, to buy our desserts for today,

also here were the cheese and bread stalls,

we walked towards the fun fair,

passing the mansion on our right,

all the fun of the fair!

Diana was not tempted,

the swings all ready to go,

and it soon was, listening to the screams it must have been fun!

time for a coffee,

we popped into the courtyard,

and started to queue, but it hardly moved, so we went to plan 'B',

a walk back to the rear of the mansion,

I snagged a table whilst Diana joined a much shorter queue for a coffee,

no queues for me!

Diana bought herself a croissant and crisps,

it was not windy at all, so the kite had some trouble keeping airborne,

all set for breakfast,

the kite still flying high,

which was a feat in itself with hardly any wind,

we made a move for home,

in time for my sherry and read,

for our starters duck pancakes,

'Cheers!',

as our roast pork main course arrived, sans gravy for myself,

with gravy for Diana,

then our cakes bought at the farmers fair, a banana slice for Diana,

apple strudel for myself, both with lashings of cream,

delicious!, in the afternoon we watched two Columbo's,

in the evening Red Notice, which we both really enjoyed, even though we had watched it before, totally implausible, but such good fun to watch,

we rounded the evening off on a more serious note Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, not the easiest film to follow at first, but we both enjoyed it, we then had a early night as Diana is on early shift tomorrow, I am only making one post today, as soon as I post it I will be out, I have a early morning appointment to have a flu jab, so with the end of Tinker Tailor we were off to bed.
