As It Is Wednesday I Am Only Making One Post Today,

as soon as I post it, I will be off to visit Duncan,

Boxing Day morning, and our mantel shelf was packed with cards,

as Diana was preparing lunch, I was out to town, to pick up some Coca-Cola Diana wanted, 

bottle picked up and back into the park,

past the side garden of Foxgrove Lodge,

Rudolph in the distance,

a nice bright day, and it was not raining as forecast,

Steve brought a few beers around to join the few we had, 

meanwhile I set about the bubbly,

easy does it, 

Ta-Dah!

the girls had some peach schnapps,

after the beers bubbly it was, 

Kai helped Diana out in the kitchen, 

I kept the glasses topped up,

and lit the candles,

for our starters Diana had prepared peppered baked and smoked salmon, 

a salad,

and a half lobster each with dressing, we were also going to have some garlic bread, but somebody, not mentioning any names,

forgot it in the grill!

onto the white wine for our main course,

Yorkshire puddings,

beef Wellington,

honey glazed smoked gammon ham, with roast potatoes, stuffing and all the vegetables,

I stayed out of the way,

'Cheers!', 

time to tuck in,

Kai and Steve ready for the off,

Boxing Day would not be complete without Christmas crackers and the hats inside of them, and of course Christmas pudding, lit for the occasion,

I am normally not very good at this, but today all went well,

Steve wisely sitting back as I added more brandy,

that looks fine,

all we had to do now was wait for it to go out!

for our last courses a few chesses from the The Cheshire Cheese Company, regular readers will have seen us buy these on our last trip to London to look at the Christmas market along the Thames at Tower Bridge, by now we were all full to bursting, so time to relax with a coffee, a big 'Thank You' to Diana for preparing all of the meal for us and to Kai for helping Diana so much, soon it was time for Steve and Kai to make a move for their home so we said our farewells, we watched a Midsomer Murder after which we were off to bed.
