today a lazy day,
so a read and a sherry before Sunday lunch,
for our starters today a couple of Indian snacks and a chicken satay,
tuck in!
for our main course roast pork, with all of the trimmings, with gravy for Diana sans gravy for myself,
'Cheers!',
we followed that with a favourite,
rhubarb crumble with cream and custard,
in the late afternoon we decided to watch Morbius again, a great take on vampire movies, a doctor bankrolled by a friend tries to find a cure for a blood disorder they both suffer from, and as you might guess a cure is found, but with unforeseen side effects, then the fun begins! in the evening there were a couple of Endeavour's back to back, Diana was then off to bed just as I started to watch,
image: Fleetwood Nautical Campus @fleetwood_nc a documentary, Titanic's Lost Evidence, from the blurb:
"Many believe the original investigation was a whitewash
failing to condemn the hubris of the British Board of Trade, the recklessness
of White Star Line. Will Lord Mersey's private papers support that view and
reveal the true cause of the sinking of the Titanic? A dust-covered box hidden
in a British manor house for 108 years contains the personal notes of Lord
Mersey, the respected British jurist and politician charged with investigating
the sinking of the Titanic in 1912",
and in the program it is opened and it contents read, a fascinating program and if you have any interest in the tragedy one you should watch, and with the end of that I too was off to bed.
