It was Diana's Day Off,

so we were out,

glad rags on,

and we were off,

walking towards New Beckenham station, to meet Steve and Kai, on the way we spotted some really nice magnolia trees in flower,

like this one,

that Diana took a photograph of,

outside the station yet another Citroen van converted into a mobile food stall,

we soon arrived at Waterloo East,

down the escalators,

and this is where we were heading, the IMAX Steve and Kai had very kindly bought tickets for us,

looking in from the outside, plenty of popcorn vacuum sealed and ready to go,

and this is what we are going to watch,

but first stock up with popcorn,

and a huge coke, well it is nearly three hours long!

Steve and Kai settle in for the start,

and so were we,

I had a new best friend! I will not comment in case you have not watched the movie yet, but I will say we both thoroughly enjoyed it, Diana commenting it was better than Part One, will there be a part Three? have a look here

after the film we decided to walk to Chinatown,

so over the footbridge,

and here we were,

we decided on the same restaurant we visited the last time we were here, the Golden Dragon, 'Cheers!',

in front of me a plate of spicy spare ribs to nibble on,

we then started with a Peking duck and pancakes with onion, cucumber and sauce,

on to the mains,

noodles with chicken,

chicken feet,

dim sum,

as well as chicken,

pork and beef dishes, by the time we finished we were all full to bursting, the girls had 2 cokes each, Steve 3 bottles of beer, and a bottle of red for myself, the bill including service charge was a tad under £200 for the four of us,

we started the walk back to Waterloo East, passing a cake shop as well as a few other shops in Chinatown, we said our farewells and thanks to Steve and Kai as we left New Beckenham station,

and this what Diana brought home with her,

next feet up for The Mummy Returns, we had watched the film before some time ago, it was a nice way to round off a perfect day and with that we were off to bed.
