Diana Had Already Left For Work,

as I made my way out,

into a grey, wet day, I should say I am only making one post today, as it is Diana's day off tomorrow, so first thing we will be out,

back to Tuesday, and off to visit Duncan, onto the number 54 bus, rain streaming against the front window,

the side window not much better as I passed Peter Pan's Pool,

looking towards Catford grey skies,

Lewisham market covered with awnings,

the florists shop next to Blackheath village station open,

with plenty of cut flowers,

offered for sale,

as well as potted plants on the other side of the door,

like these balloon flowers, (platycodon), in pale pink,

and blue,

the up trains had just left, for myself bad news as usual, no through trains to Gravesend,

so change at Dartford and take a photograph of one of the weeping willows at one side of the pond,

a few more at the other end,

at the bus stand in Gravesend a bit of a wait, the train arrives about 2 minutes after the 483 bus I need has left,

not to worry I was soon walking up the hill to the nursing home where Duncan stays,

thankfully although the skies were grey,

it was not raining,

as I made my way past the rose bed,

a few more in flower this week,

all looking nice,

like these,

inside Duncan was in fine sprits, we chatted away about where Diana and myself had been in the past week and what we had planned for Diana's day off tomorrow, when Duncan's lunch arrived we said our farewells, and I made a move for the bus to Gravesend station where as luck would have it a train was waiting and going through to Blackheath, so no changing trains at Dartford,

arriving at Blackheath I was soon on a number 54 bus, as it stopped by the building that never seemed to stop having building work done to it, I took a couple of photographs of the entrance,

a bit of work still needed,

a quick look at one of the bus shelter bee gardens,

some of the plants there soon to flower,

entering the park I noticed in the side garden of Foxgrove Lodge some white peonies about to open,

I carried on walking towards our home,

lots of grey clouds in the sky, but luckily the rain held off and I arrived home dry, Diana had already beaten me home as she had a early start this morning, after watching a couple of quiz shows we had our evening meal which we followed with BattleBots, for some reason the season started last week, then the series stopped and has just now started again, one Antiques Road Show later and we settled down for a Midsomer Murder, it was one we had watched before, but so long ago we could not remember who did it, the murders that is, after which we were off to bed.
