China is building a new 8 cylinder monster!
photographs Visordown, Great Wall Motor Company’s (GWM) second large-capacity bike
has been spotted undergoing some on-road testing, the colour scheme in the photograph
is designed to obscure the bike,
it follows hot on the heels of the GWM Souo S2000 GL which
was revealed last month, and like that bike, it features a huge
2,000cc flat-eight engine,
the press release stated that “every time it is started, the
deep and deep roar is as shocking as a lion's roar, full of power and majesty;
when accelerating, the sound is exciting. Surging, igniting passion and blood”,
hopefully the motorcycle will live up to the hyperbole! the full article is here, would I like one? a difficult question, I really do not know, much as I enjoy motorcycles as far as brand new motorcycles are concerned I think I would give this one a miss in favour of a Triumph Thruxton RS, or one of the many copy cat Indian models, BSA. Royal Enfield et al.
