Sunday Again,

and time for our Sunday lunch,

first a read and a sherry,

for our starter chicken noodle soup,

followed by a quarter of roast duck each, with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself,

'Cheers!', we rounded off the meal with a hot sticky toffee pudding, delicious, in the afternoon feet up for,

Mutiny on the Bounty, not the latest one, but the 1962 version staring Trevor Howard, we had watched the film before, but still enjoyable to watch again,

then wrap up for the cold and we were out,

we meet Steve and Kai and caught a 227 bus to Bromley, all of the shops,

closed as it was late and a Sunday,

first stop,

you guessed it McDonald's!

everyone except myself was hungry, so burger, chicken nuggets and chips all round,

that's better,

and this is where we are going, the Churchill Theatre in Bromley,

down the stairs to the bar,

which was packed, but Steve and myself were soon served,

2 large white wines in one glass,

which gave me a free hand, Steve went with 2 glasses, one in each hand,

Diana could not believe it, a pint of white wine,

we settled into our seats fourth row from the stage,

and this is what we had come to see, the Illegal Eagles

and here they are, formed in 1998, the latest all-star line-up of the show, produced as ever by Phil Aldridge, features Tony Kiley (formerly from 80's sensation The Blow Monkeys) on drums, Trevor Newnham (Dr Hook) vocals and bass, Greg Webb vocals and guitars, Mike Baker, vocals and guitars and Garreth Hicklin, vocals and guitars,

they belted the Eagles hits out,

and one or two numbers that the group recorded that were not so well known,

the performance was immaculate, note perfect in fact, we all thoroughly enjoyed the show, by the time the encores were performed and we were out side it was late, onto a 227 bus which we left with Steve and Kai onboard as they had to alight in a few stops time, arriving home as Diana has a early start tomorrow she was off to bed, for myself a nightcap as I watched a Bangers & Cash before I too was off to bed.
