a day on the beach it was,
so a Bolt taxi to Dongtan beach,
a walk past the huge palm trees,
and the entrance/exit to View Talay 5 where Diana and myself stayed as we applied for Diana's visa, to accompany me to the UK and her eventual acceptance as a UK citizen, a journey that started some 6 years ago!
my view of that beach,
food arrives, cashew nuts and fried pork belly,
all day beach vendors passed by,
up,
and down the beach,
then the one in the afternoon I was looking for, the doughnut man, 2 plain at 20 baht each,
the shadows were getting long, so time for a walk to grab a Bolt taxi and back to the hotel for a shower before going out for my evening meal,
a walk over the cross roads, which is an adventure in itself, whilst the majority of cars and motorcycles obey the red Stop sign, there are always one or three that do not!
past one of the restaurants that has fresh seafood on display,
past Ripley's,
to Dicey's,
for my evening meal,
a nice selection of sprits,
for tonight, fish and chips,
on my way to the street I decided to walk through the store,
where a fashion show was taking place,
I was soon in the street,
and walking towards Dang's bar for a nightcap, before I was off to bed.
