firstly the good news, Diana has 2 more days off,
today and tomorrow, she has to use this years holiday before Christmas, so today we are out, which means that for today that the bad news is only one post, cue roars of laughter and cries of shame! the second part of the bad news is that my pocket camera finally lost the will to live, for the past few weeks when I turned it on it would go into zoom mode and not focus, hence the photogrgh above, by keeping switching it on and off it would eventually right itself, but it was taking longer and longer to do so, back to Wednesday, on to the number 54 bus, I had read that some trains to Dartford and Gravesend had been cancelled this week from Blackheath,
so off of the bus at Lewisham, where I caught a through train to Gravesend,
which was nice as I did not have to change trains at Dartford as usual, arriving at the station the skies looked cold and grey, I made my way to the bus hub, and was soon on a 483 bus,
alighting at the library I was soon walking up the hill,
to the nursing home where Duncan stays, where I had some more bad news, I just could not wake Duncan up, he was in a deep, deep sleep, I left his room and asked one of the nurses about him, she replied that she had the same thing at breakfast, I also asked the sister who looked after the home on this shift who also said that he was the same yesterday, I asked if his medication had been changed, but as I was not family she could not answer, but she did say he was the same yesterday, I had no choice other than to make a move for home,
outside the camera yet again would not switch on properly, it went into partial zoom mode and not focus, which is why over the past few weeks I have not taken as many photographs as I normally do,
but it did switch on properly on the bus,
as I went past the pavement improvements in Lewisham,
passing the bee garden this was the cameras last hurrah,
a slightly out of focus photograph, after this a error message appeared every time I switched it on,
so from now on, photographs with the Lumix camera only, I spent the afternoon doing the househusband thing, hoovering, cleaning the inside glass of the aquarium, watering the plants etc, then time for my read and sherry,
for tonight a light vegetable soup,
'Cheers!', after watching Battle Bots I switched to BBCi and continued watching Wolf Hall, it was so engaging, the story so good, the cast excellent, the costumes and scenes just as you would imagine the place would look at the time, when Diana arrived home we then continued to watch Vikings, we started on the second series, which looks like it will shape up as good as the first, after a episode of that we were off to bed.
