I Had My Day All Planned Out,

but after posting the blog,

and breakfast, it all went mustang, before I left Diana had cooked some smoked haddock for me for breakfast, I finished my breakfast and then I had a message from the doctors surgery, I was due for my first RSV injection, from the website: 

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is an enveloped RNA virus, in the same family as the human parainfluenza viruses and mumps and measles viruses. RSV is one of the common viruses that cause coughs and colds in winter. RSV is transmitted by large droplets and by secretions from contact with an infected person. From 1 September 2024, 2 new respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccination programmes will be introduced:

Programme for older adults aged 75 to 79 years old:

All adults turning 75 years old on or after 1 September 2024 will be eligible for the routine programme and should be offered a single dose of the RSV vaccine.

I called the surgery to make an appointment, and was told if I had time in 1 hour to call in, a coffee later and I was walking past the church, 

and the now closed bank undergoing renovations or a conversion,

and past the restaurants at the bottom of the hill, unfortunaly although on time the nurse who administered the injection was not, time ticked by, but eventually I was seen and on my way to the shop, I had brought some printing with me to drop off, so on to a number 54 bus, I had a chat with Graham and then made my way home, arriving home Diana had left, but the flat had a decidedly fishy aroma about it, so the kitchen bin emptied, no sooner had I arrived back upstairs, poured myself a coffee than the buzzer sounded, could I please take in a parcel for flat 2, back down stairs, in the next hour the same happened for flat 4, although a different carrier, I turned on the computer, then the buzzer, again! This time it was our normal postman, he had all of the post for all of the flats, but he needed to put through the door a parcel that was too big for flat 1, talk about up and down stairs! by now I had decided to give playing with photographs a miss for today and settled down to watch a Tipping Point followed by The Chase, which nicely brought me up to the time for my evening meal, after which the usual Outback Opal Hunters and a Deadliest Catch, rather nicely a Poirot then started at 8.00 and did not finish until 10.00, shortly after which I was out to pick up Diana, arriving home 2 from the It Ain't Half Hot Mum box set before we were off to bed.
