The Sunset At Bali Hai,

it was Micks birthday last week,
so a little late we went out to celebrate today, but first things first it was over to Jeff's to water the plants,
Diana is getting quite good at watering them now, the people below hardly get wet at all!
there was a bit of a haze, so this shot of the pier is a bit misty,
then it was off to the Sunset restaurant, near the Bali Hai pier,
we went to the open air bit, but there were umbrellas there to keep the sun off,
plastic chairs and nice thick cushions,
this is the sign to look for on the road,
low tide when we were there,
the entrance to the restaurant,
I saw a nice red water lily in the pool, so I went over to get a shot of it, only to find it was plastic! but this is a real white water lily,
Mas and her starter, prawn cocktail,
"Happy birthday Mick!" with his salmon and capers,
Diana and Mas,
Mick and myself,
the girls with their fried squid and prawns,
Mick and myself then had scallops in garlic sauce,
followed by the main course,
imported Chateaubriand steak, cooked medium rare, delicious!
"Cheers!" from all of us and a happy birthday to Mick,
also at the restaurant there is a help yourself bar-b-q just pick what you want, it is weighed so you know how much it is, then enjoy!
lots of seafood to chose from,
and papaya poc-poc if you want it,
and freshly made salad as well,
the bar-b-q was quite impressive, so many knobs to play with!
and this is why it is called the Sunset,
we brought our own bottle of wine, but there was a good selection available, we all agreed it was a really nice meal, and all said we will be back!
