Out For A Night In Udon Thanni

so the girls put on their going out clothes,
and off we went,
first port of call was the Irish Clock, the food was excellent, well priced and delicious, Diana had chicken Cordon Bleu at 160 baht,
for the same price I had beef stew and dumplings,
whilst Mick had shepard's pie, Mas had macaroni but I forgot to take a picture of it,
"Bon Appétit!" from all of us, we then walked round the corner to a few bars, first one was the Grasshopper,
the main reason we stopped there was that the volume of music seemed a little lower than every where else,
Diana and myself,
and Mick and Mas, one of the waitresses there insisted on having "her" picture taken,
after a few drinks at the Grasshopper we walked to the corner to the "Up To You" bar, well the sign says it all, "Cheers!" from all of us,
whilst we were at the Up To You bar an elephant wandered along as they do,
Diana was not to sure about getting to close,
then it was back to the area around the hotel for a nightcap, we went in one of the 3 wheeled motorcycle taxis,
and we bumped into Nitaya the bubbly owner of The Factory, just a few yards from our hotel, the drinks were double measures for only 49 baht, so we stayed for quite some time!
she very kindly gave Mick some cigars that she had from Burma, which Mick enjoyed immensely!
even the girls joined in for a double shot of Tequila, "Cheers!" and then it was off to bed.
