'No Two Snowflakes Are Ever The Same'

my science teacher told me, and I have heard that many time since, but here are a few pictures of them in the last of today's Christmas posts, I hear that some snow is falling in some parts of the UK so you can go outside and look! each snowflake is a miniature masterpiece of nature: six-sided, perfectly symmetrical - and unique,
a snowflake is created in an instant out of water vapour, and vanishes just as suddenly, its pattern never to be repeated, these amazing images were taken, using a special microscope, by physics Professor Kenneth Libbrecht, who has spent the past 11 years on a personal quest to record the beautiful world of snowflakes, so it is 'Merry Christmas from Diana and Me!'
