Do Not Mess WithFish 97

and you thought fish were fun! well Joe Ball did when he caught this world record for a fishing with a rod and reel, Mekong catfish (Pangasianodon gigas), although they are normaly found in rivers this one was caught in a day ticket lake, the story appeared in The Sun newspaper on Monday 24 th May 2010, keeping their readers up to date as usual as the picture first appeared in the Krabi newsleter of December 2009, taken at Gillhams Fishing Resort, I guess The Sun like most newspapers keep a stock of 'fillers' when news is a bit scarce.

Dear Glen, I must have missed that one, but many years ago we went fishing I believe at Teddington on the Thames, as we went back to our car where you have to pay to leave it on the other side of the road the free short time car park had flooded, with a couple of cars and bikes in it, so much for 'free' parking, of course the locals knew this, good job Dad paid for the ticket, best regards, Stan and Diana.
