On Monday I Decided To Spring Clean The Aquariums,

but I needed some nylon wool for the filters , so off to the fish shop, but on the way I stopped at the fishing tackle shop for some bait, we will be going fishing in a few days time, the shop is in Theprisitt Road on the same side as the MP petrol station, yet again I marvelled at how much stock the shop holds,
then to the fish shop opposite the highway police station on Sumkivit Road,
changing the water on one aquarium is easy, as it was against an outside wall I had a tap and drain put in beside it,
so it empties and fill whilst I change water the old fashioned way on the other one,
using a hose pipe to empty and fill it,
nearly done,
after that Mark called round just as we had put Ghost Ship on the television, we had seen it before but basically after discovering a passenger ship missing since 1962 floating adrift on the Bering Sea, salvagers claim the vessel as their own, however all is not as it seems, then a complete change of mood, again we have watched The Pink Panther before, but it is still so funny even though you know exactly what is going to happen next, when the coach of the France soccer team is killed by a poisoned dart in the stadium in the end of a game, and his expensive and huge ring with the diamond Pink Panther disappears, the ambitious Chief Insp. Dreyfus assigns the worst police inspector Jacques Clouseau to the case, the rest as they say is history, case solved,
by now the evening was wearing on, so a few from Tales, The Verger being the most memorable with a really nice twist in the tale this time, Albert Dobson is a very good verger who has served the church for years, but when the modernising new vicar discovers Albert cannot read or write, he soon leaves him no choice but to resign, Albert and his wife Milly face an impoverished unwanted retirement, unless they can do something different,
to round off the evening we watched two from Frost, first Appropriate Adults, Frost investigates the disappearance of 8 year-old Tricia Martin, the last person to see her alive was 19 year-old Billy Conrad who has Downs Syndrome and has the mental capacity of a child and a secret to hide, then Quarry, DI Jack Frost investigates the murder of Nick Walder who was part of a group of saboteurs trying to disrupt the local hunt. DC Clive Barnard, the Chief Constable's nephew, is re-assigned to Denton CID, suspicion falls on many, including the local hunt organizers and some of the saboteurs themselves as there was a schism within the group, but was the murderer some one from outside the group? then off to bed, tomorrow we are up early for a day out.
