Speaking Of Wasting Money,

a probe into the volume of ice cream van chimes,

is taking up valuable UK government time, the Department of Food and Rural Affairs has published a 17,000-word consultation document asking residents of the UK if they think noise restrictions on ice cream bells should be scrapped, as the government department said the exercise will appeal to "members of the public with an interest in chimes", so that all right then, strange how in this of all times when Britain is battling massive debt some things can take the governments interest, smoke and mirrors I suppose.
