Reunited Again,

Sir Stirling Moss once again is beside his first race car,

in 1947 when his father Aldred, also a racer, loaned it to him for the Harrow Car Club Trial, few people realised how famous Stirling Moss as he was then would become, Sir Stirling Moss’s career spanned from the late 1940s to the early 60s where he won 212 out of the 529 races that he entered -16 of which were in the Formula One Grand Prix, during his racing years, Moss drove 84 different makes and models of cars including Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Lotus and Jaguar, as well as BMW,

which brings us back to this story, the car is a BMW 328, although reunited a few things had changed, the car was black when he raced it, but He was happy that the car was still being driven and raced and had not become a museum piece, as a kid I always heard although never saw Moss race, he retired in 1962 after a crash left him in a coma for a month, but what family and race memories this meeting must have brought back for him.
