We Had A Bit Of A Lazy Day,

but then in the evening it was time for our Saturday evening barbecue,

it was my job to make up the fire,

which resulted in the usual clouds of smoke,

the good news was that using the fan as I did last week, very soon the flames caught and the smoke disappeared,

we decided to go on the winning combination that we have had before, garlic bread with prawns, which this week by the way were huge, covered with garlic and some marinated chicken plus of course an onion bonbon,

the charcoal was by now glowing nicely, so it was Diana's turn to take charge of the cooking,

the onion bonbons in the silver foil go on first as they take the longest to cook, after our starter of garlic bread the prawns went on,

and after a suitable break they were followed by filleted chicken,

garlic bread with chicken covered by onions and a glass of wine, delicious!

all week Diana has been playing with her new phone, this evening we decided to listen to some music, Diana wanted to try experiment and went indoors to find a pair of speakers, these she connected to her new phone and hey presto, we had music to while away the evening,

and what did we first listen to? Burl Ives, the Big Rock Candy Mountain, a great singalong song which I guess upset everybody else around us, followed by many more,

'Cheers!', a very pleasant way to while away the evening, sipping wine and listening to music, long past the time the local flock of bats had passed us by we made our way indoors, after couple shows that we watched on television we decided to call it a night and we were off to bed.
