We Have Another Early Start Today,

so again straight on with the blog,

we were out fishing with Nick and Maureen, but as the pool supply place that Nick uses was nearby we called in to pick up some chemicals,

going towards and near to Mapuchan Lake, it is on the left-hand side, almost opposite this design studio,

and this builders merchants and paint supply centre, if you have a swimming pool Nick has found that the pool supply place he uses is the most reasonably priced in the area,

then to the lake and on to fishing, again we were the Mamak Fishing Park, it is off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from Sumkivitt, over the railway crossing and continue for a couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will see a pink building on the left, the road the fishing park is in is almost opposite, follow that for a while and the fishing park is on the left,
on to the serious part of fishing, the first beer day!

we settled down to see what the day would bring,

the first thing we thought it was going to bring was rain,

as dark clouds came rolling in towards us,

but Ta-Taa was not worried in the least,

to make things seem worse it then started to thunder,

we spent the first few hours with hardly a bite, then success, Nick was into a fish,

after a fierce struggle it was finally landed,

but unfortunately not one of the fish that it is nice to eat, this particular type is absolutely full of very fine bones so back he went,

although it does not look it the skies became even darker,

 then I hooked into one,

and with Nick's help safely landed,

another nice size fish, again not one that is nice to eat, so it too was returned and that's how we ended the day, the score at one all and not a single keeper, notice the absence of one of my front teeth, so tomorrow a trip to the dentist is planned,

 the fishing park's card,

and map of how to get there,

we made our way back Nick and Maureen's home,

where Ta-Taa decided all this excitement at the fishing park was too much,

then a change of position once the air conditioning was switched on,

Nick and Maureen had very kindly cooked a roast dinner for us all,

roast pork and crackling, I must remember to look after the few teeth I have left whilst enjoying the crackling before tomorrow's visit to the dentist,

after our meal enjoyed ice cream along with cheese and biscuits,

then the serious part of the day, our usual game of Monopoly, this evening Diana had all of the luck, quickly knocking out all three of us, after thanking Nick and Maureen for looking after us so well we made a move home, luckily the truck started, I had not mentioned it before but the past few times we used the truck the battery has turned the engine over slower and slower each time, this morning we had to resort to using the battery charger, so tomorrow as well as a trip to the clinic for a checkup for me and a visit the dentist we now also have to go to the battery centre on the Sumkivitt Road, when we arrived home we watched a couple of episodes from the Crime and Investigation channel, then for us we were off to bed.
