as we are out early today,
the water was so clear,
Diana had a quick dip in the small pool,
and a rest by the side of it,
it was then my turn, the swim also gave us the opportunity to try out our new underwater housing for the small Panasonic camera we have,
and it worked fine,
well at the very least did not leak!
Diana all smiles,
just like a little mermaid,
the camera has a setting for underwater use,
because water filters out light quickly,
the setting takes out the blue,
and increases the red end of the spectrum,
Diana's swimming skills are getting better every time we go swimming,
Diana took these two selfies I think they are called, this one with the camera set at normal,
this one with the camera set in the underwater mode,
Diana then had a go at using her snorkel, note to self, dry the lens before taking pictures,
all set and off she goes,
the housing is a Panasonic one, the DMW-MCTZ20E, this what it looks like with the camera installed,
and from the rear, all of the buttons work exactly the same as they would do without the housing, the housing itself is rated to be suitable for dives to a maximum of 40 meters, over 130 feet deep, so the PRS Mansion pool is well within it's range!

all of that swimming gave us both an appetite, so off to the Punch and Judy,
a rack of ribs for Diana,
they were so large,
and delicious,
whilst at the pool I had already decided on my meal,
lamb chops and vegetables,
and what better way to round off the meal?
a banoffee pie of course, an English dessert from The Hungry Monk restaurant in Jevington, East Sussex, first produced there in 1972, the history of the pie has been the subject of some discussion, so the owner and inventor, if you can call him that, Nigel Mackenzie offered a £10,000 prize to anyone who could disprove their claim by finding any published pre-1972 recipe for the pie, no one came forward to claim the money, so after our meal it was off home to watch a couple from Midsomer Murders, then for us off to bed.
