As Usual,

I started the day,

with a slice of rye bread, but today topped with ham and our own home grown tomatoes,

in the late afternoon we made our way to the market, although a little wet underfoot in places, it had been raining quiet hard yesterday and a little today,

once inside the covered area with raised concrete walkways all was dry,

we made our way past many of the stalls,

 like this one,

 selling fruit smoothies,

we were looking for some Marian plums, that I like so much, but it appears that the season is ending as the ones for sale were so small and did not look nice, so we bought a kilo of tangerines instead,

and a couple of huge apples to snack on later,

and then just to prove me wrong over the road there was a stall selling huge plums, so over we went a bought 2 kilos of them,

this is the market from the other side of the road,

we do not normally cross this road, but the lure of the plums was to much,

we were a tad early, so the bar-b-q fish stall had not yet set up,

 but this one had,

from a distance I could not make out what they were selling,

but looking closer I could see that they were sesame seed coated birds, small chickens I guess,

for tonight we had a real treat in store, a candle lit dinner for two,

with a bottle of wine that Jim and Cher kindly gave us,

the fish were looking forward to a few unexpected feeds as well,

tonight an Indian with some of the food we had kept in the freezer, plus some extra chicken that Diana cooked to add into some of the sauces we had,

 'Cheers!',

and to round off the meal a magnum ice cream,

after our meal we watched the first of the Batman movies on this DVD, the one we watched made in 1989, then 2 episodes from Boardwalk Empire, we actually started season 2, next for us, we were off to bed.
