It Was Only A Few Days Ago,

that I was talking to Mr, Tony,

lamenting the fact that we have so many cables to carry around with us to charge batteries when we go away, but thankfully we do not need any cables to connect to our computer or laptop to our camera as the memory cards plug into it,

and our new computer has all of the USB ports, what ever they are that we need to plug in every thing else, so thank goodness I had the sense not to replace our computer with a new MacBook, it has a slight problem, for us anyway, in that it has just a single USB-C input instead of the usual mix of ports, and that means we would have needed to buy a bunch of adaptors to get our existing gadgets to work with the new MacBook, here’s all the new MacBook cable accessories Apple has to offer, first up is a new 29W Power Adaptor with its own built-in USB-C port for $49, you’ll need to combine it with a new USB-C charging cable ($29), though both the cable and the adapter are included with each new MacBook, you can also use the same cable to connect and share information between two USB-C machines, there’s a $19 extension cable for the adaptor in case you need some extra length, Apple is also offering two different $79 multiport adaptors, which you’ll need to plug other types of cords into the new MacBook, the VGA adaptor adds one port for VGA display, a second for standard USB, and a third Type-C port, there’s also a VA adaptor, which swaps VGA for HDMI, while keeping the same standard USB and USB-C ports, if you’re planning on plugging in any of your current devices (that’s anything from an iPhone to a non-wireless mouse or keyboard), you’ll need to pick up one of these new adaptors to go with the new MacBook, the $79 starting price isn’t very cheap and that is just the starting price! what I can not understand is if these adaptors are needed for the new MacBook why are they not included, I just hate it when I buy into something then the company nickels and dimes me all the way to the bank, but looking at these adaptor prices it is not really nickels and dimes any more!
