After A Change Of Clothes,

we were out again,

for our evening meal, as it was the families last weekend it had to be something special,

 so we hired a minivan,

to drop us off at the Central Festival and made our way to the Hilton,

 stopping for a few pictures,

 on the way,

Diana said pose, so I did,

as we made our way to the Edge restaurant on the 6th floor, which for some reason is called level 14,

we made our way down to the reception area,

 and shown to our tables,

we had booked two tables for 4,

next to the window overlooking the sea,

next to the window there are tables for 2 or 4 people, having said that you can request a table for 6,

so on to the food, where to start?

I know, start with a glass of bubbly,

so I then started my way around the dining area to see what was on offer this evening,

 Diana will be happy, pizzas!

the roast for this evening, Australian beef and lamb,

plus lots of other hot dishes,

prawn and squid kebabs, rock lobsters, tiger prawns and fish in leaves, all waiting to find a home on the bar-b-q,

 a selection of cold meats,

 and cheese,

 and so many condiments,

this is a mix and match food station,

 where you can help yourself,

so many things to chose from,

more hot dishes with the bar-b-q behind,

the seafood section, you could spend the whole evening just here,

 individual seafood medleys,

 the seafood staff,

 chilled crabs, prawns and oysters,

 then on to the desserts,

and what a selection, this was going to be a favourite, the chocolate fountain, or is it waterfall?

with a few of the tit bits you can dip in the chocolate,

 a selection of cakes,

 and fresh fruit,

 plus individual dishes,

that you can add toppings to,

 lots of individual cakes,

there is also a chef on hand,

to create you own dessert,

 but enough already,

it was time to tuck in and explain the delights of the chocolate fountain,

 which Daisy May soon understood,

it was a bit difficult explaining that the cakes came in slices, you could not take away the whole cake,

 I want that one!

so we all started with the seafood,

 'Cheers!',

 from all of us,

I said we all started with seafood, I went for cold cuts and cheeses,

and this is one of the many waiters and waitresses that kept our table clear and in this case our glasses filled,

 Mum looking at the desserts,

 but what to choose next?

 pizza!

 but for Mum and Dad,

 some bar-b-qued seafood,

some cold cuts and cheese for the kids,

Daisy May was fascinated with these incredibly long bread sticks,

meanwhile Mum was having some roast beef and lamb, a first for her,

smoked salmon and prawns for myself,

so it was eyes down and tuck in,

 for all of us,

I had a brief stop for a top up,

 then after a suitable break,

 we were back,

 for a second main course,

 the kids were having,

 a whale of a time,

and Daisy May just loved those tiger prawns,

 a top up for me,

 and after another long break,

 the next courses,

 with bread-sticks,

 Daisy May and her Mum,

getting ready for the main event,

 and here it was,

 the chocolate fountain,

meanwhile Diana was having a custom built dessert,

 made for her,

I am not sure what is in it but the outside drizzled in light and dark chocolate looked so delicious I almost ordered one myself,

 Sandio like all of us,

 was spoilt for choice,

 that was sooo nice,

 as were these,

a strawberry delight amongst others for Mum,

Diana arrived back at the table with her special dessert,

as Daisy May went up for her second,

and covered it with a selection of toppings,

 Sandio was tucking in again,

whilst we all finished up with some fresh fruit,

 next a quick look outside,

at the lights in the bay,

and downstairs at ground level,

 where it appears,

that a fashion show was taking place,

Lyn with the Pattaya sign in the distance,

 a final look around outside,

and it was time to go, I am guessing here but I am pretty sure that none of us could eat another thing!

we made our way back through Central Festival,

where we were picked up by the minivan,

we arrived home safe and sound, then feet up for this evenings movie, The Day After Tomorrow, which we all enjoyed, then for all of us we were off to bed.
