but I did pop out to buy some perspex,
from a shop that makes signs with perspex backs amongst other things, once the concrete has dried out I will use some silicone to glue it them place at the front and back doors as a defence against the next flood, I have ordered them a few inches taller than the last ones, so that will be a job for next week,
I also had a look for some books for our kindle and am now up to about 20 books, all of which I want to read in many cases again as in the past I have owned the hard copies, on to the evening, all of the paper, wood and charcoal was still soaked, so a take home Indian meal for our Saturday evening,
poppadom masala for our first starter,
followed by onion bhajis and chicken samosa,
'Cheers!',
we had 4 main course,
lamb kebabs, chicken jalfrezi, chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi with peas pulao rice,
and for dessert some oranges,
which were not as sweet as we thought they were going to be,
we listen to music till about 10.00 then inside for new episode of Wolf Hall, which is getting better at every viewing after the slightly slow second episode, then for us we were off to bed.
