and hair pieces in my time,
but none quite as strange as these,
but one thing, they are not hairpieces,
they are alive!
welcome to the world of Guinea pigs or cavies as they are
sometimes called, although they are not in the pig family, nor are they from
Guinea, they originated in the Andes, where they are a food source, these
pictures were taken by Isabel Gibson and Helen Chesney when they toured cavy clubs in the UK, how strange the domesticated cavies are now compared to the
original ones kept for food.
