I Remember The First Time I Drove A Mini,

it was so fast,

especially going round corners compared to the other cars I had driven back in the 1970s, so it was with some interest I looked at this retro cafe racer Mini, it has been recreated by a company called Cool & Vintage which is owned by 2 cool guys (hence the name) both named Ricardo, they both decided they wanted a car each to race in, the choice, a Mini, so they bought 2 Mini Coopers that had the 998cc engine,

which was replaced with a 1,300 unit that had been tuned and a period Broardspeed label added to it, to keep things safe front and rear new Cooper S brakes were installed, along with Cooper S wheels in black, RC40 Exhaust and LCB manifold, Gaz adjustable shocks with Hi-Lo and adjustable A-Rods, Yokohama tires, John Alley type Roll Bar, Smiths rev counter, aluminium radiator, period racing seat (driver), reversing light and Lucas 700 lights in the front,

both have now been sold, but if you are interested you could get in touch with the cool guys, you never know they might build another one for you and no I am not on commission, I just thought the car had a real 1960s café racer look, and was very well done.
