and off fishing,
with Nick and Maureen, let the tournament begin!
we were watched by the girls,
it was a beautiful day,
just a few clouds every now and again to cool us from the sun,
after a couple of small fish I caught one for the pot,
so off to the kitchen he went, and was back with us in no time, delicious,
the score by now 3 - 1 to me when the heavens opened up,
and did it rain!
some where in there is my float,
but it rained so hard the water obscured it from view,
eventually the rain stopped, but the thunder and lightening continued in the distance, at the end of the day Nick won, again, the score 7 - 6 to Nick,
if you fancy a day out the Paifon Fishing Park is
off of Soi Nub Plan Wan, (spelt as it sounds), turn into the Soi from
Sukhumvitt, once in the Soi go over the railway crossing and continue for a
couple of miles, the road starts to go downhill, near the bottom of it you will
see a big pink building on the left where we normally turn right into the old
fishing park, do not turn right, keep going until you see Soi 24 and turn
right, there is a 7-11 on the corner, continue for about a mile it is past Soi
14, the concrete road comes to a strange cross road, take the one with the sign
(above) on it and the park is on the left hand side, we stopped of at Nick and Maureen's for a coffee then made a move for home,
after our evening meal we watched a few from Poirot,
one a particularly good one, The Clocks, as the midnight hour approached we were off to bed.
