but just before we set out it rained,
and got worse,
very much worse, and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon, so we called a Grab taxi and arrived with the rain still pouring down here,
a quick nibble on some bread rolls,
and it was time for our starters, an orange and duck salad,
we were joined by Mr.Tony, who like us went for the orange and duck salad starter,
'Cheers!',
onto our main courses,
we all went with the Sunday roast,
next desserts,
partiferolls drizzled with chocolate for Diana,
for Mr.Tony,
and myself,
a strawberry trifle, what a lovely meal and as a bonus the rain had stopped by the time Mr. Tony gave us a lift home, after saying our goodbyes it was feet up for the Sunday afternoon/early evening film,
Sink the Bismarck! crikey I was only 10 years old when this came out in 1960! for the rest of the evening we watched the new episodes of the Crime and Investigation series, and with the midnight hour approaching we were off to bed.
