When I Hear The Term,

'not fit for purpose',

it normally is used to describe a city hall council official, or most, if not all politicians, but a few days ago this swim suit from Gucci hit the fashion headlines,

that is made from two things, 80 % nylon and 20% elastane, two materials that just don’t get along with chlorine, so you don’t want to be caught anywhere near a pool in this swimsuit, a not fit for purposes swimsuit in other words,

“Due to the nature of this particular fabric, this swimsuit should not come into contact with chlorine,” Gucci writes in the product details listed on its website, but the Italian luxury fashion brand had the last laugh, as its US$380 Logo Swimsuit, (Australian $ above), it is currently sold out pretty much everywhere, people it seems do care more about making a statement than a garment’s functionality, and I guess if is so popular with fools that want a not fit for purpose swimsuit, if the people that buy it can vote, that most probably explains why we have not fit for purpose council officials and politicians!
