I Guess We Pretty Much Take Trees For Granted,

but just occasionally one or a group standout,

 and it is those, 

 that Los Angeles-based photographer Sinziana Velicescu,

 takes an interest in,

 in her series A Tree Grows In…, (click on the picture to see more of the series), Velicescu documents trees and shrubs growing alongside, or in spite of, pastel-hued buildings and fences in the Los Angeles area,

 “Part of my process is walking or driving around neighborhoods in and around the greater Los Angeles area and coming across these scenes spontaneously,”

 some are kept to defined shapes,

 whilst others instead of taking over walls have walls built around them, 

 I have to say I have never seen this before, a tree or in this case a palm being used as what appears to be a microwave tower,
