Day Two,

in the run up to Christmas,

 in the morning,

it was time to find the bubbly for day 2,

 got it!

although difficult to see the bottle had a really snazzy multi coloured reflective label, that really dazzled in the sunlight, into the refrigerator, so it will be nice and cold to go with my evening meal,

after Diana had left for work, the lady from Plumbs arrived, we had decided the colour we chose for the sofas was a bit impractical, although they had been coated to make accidental spills easy to clear up, we decided to tone the colour down a tad and have chosen a light grey to have to have the sofas covered in, so measurements and photographs taken we should receive the covers in the New Year,

I popped upstairs, looking through one of the access to the roof windows in my man attic, I could see that the builders had started to give the windows a coat of paint, a couple of days ago I was talking to Matt who also lives here and looks after the maintenance, he mentioned that the cost of repaired/repainting the stained glass windows was coming in at about the estimated quote, just a tad under £10,000, luckily all of the residents had built up over the years a goodly rolling maintenance fund, so the cost will come out of that, it is nice living in an old building with lots of character, but it does have its high maintenance costs to contend with,

Diana called just before midnight, so off to the bus stop, passing Foxgrove Lodge the Christmas tree was now out and lit,

so I asked Diana to have a quick pose on the way back, arriving home we started the last disc from Taboo, what a totally watchable series, and it appears a second series is on the books, as Monty would say, 'Excellent!', after watching one episode we were off to bed.
