First Thing,

looking out of the window overlooking the back garden,

Reynard the fox called by, I had noticed in the past he liked the peanuts I throw out for the birds,

 and today was no exception,

in the afternoon we found a vase for the flowers that Steve and Kai had brought round for us,

what a lovely display, we normally try to have flowers on the table for Sunday lunches,

we now had 2 vases and 2 pint glasses full of them, in the afternoon Diana busied herself around the house whilst I caught up with a few emails, after our evening meal, a couple of quiz shows and a Poirot, then 2 games of 'lightning Monopoly', it is a quick game as we change the rules slightly, we throw a dice, highest goes first, then once round the board without buying or observing any on the non property spaces, i.e. do not pick up community chest or chance cards, and do not go to jail, then after once round the board you can start buying, but, here is the big difference, if Diana buys one of say a yellow coloured property set, I can  not buy into it, or if I buy one of a red set, Diana can not buy the other 2, and of course all of the chance, community chest and go to jail places come into play, it makes for a quick and exciting game, I will not say who won, but Diana lost twice,

our film for the evening was Public Enemies, as it says in the revue, 'This is the story of the last few years of the notorious bank robber John Dillinger. He loved what he did and could imagine little else that would make him happier. Living openly in 1930s Chicago, he had the run of the city with little fear of reprisals from the authorities.' then FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, takes charge putting his best men on the case, the rest as they say is history, and with the end of that we were off to bed.
