I went out food shopping,
and for the first time since the lock down began there were no queues at Waitrose, in fact over the past few weeks that I have been out, there have only been queues at two establishments, both Beckenham post offices always had 10 or more people queuing up outside of them, and the bicycle garage Deen's that always seems to have a queue outside of it,
arriving home it was feet up for a afternoon film, Tora! Tora! Tora! a film made in 1970 about the lead up to and attack on Pearl Harbor, which was enthralling especially as the film told the story pretty much exactly as it happened, unlike some other films made on the subject,
Diana had called to say she was on her way home,
and had picked up a few things for our evening meal,
a selection of cold cuts, cheese and a fresh French stick, I had raided the kitchen and put some silver skin onions with small and large gherkins in bowls,
'Cheers!' after our main course we had some fresh mango, then feet up for one from Poirot and a 2 hour episode of Silent Witness, and with the end of that we were off to bed.
