A HAPPY AND MERRY CHRISTMAS,

TO EVEYONE!

as it is Christmas I will only make one post a day as I am sure everyone will be busy with their family and friends, on Christmas eve we had a visit from the Jay, a bit difficult to see but he is there somewhere,

the postman delivered his last delivery this morning, many thanks to everyone for sending such nice cards, in the morning Diana popped out to drop off a Christmas present at her work place and do some shopping, but the queues at the shops were way to long, we had a quiet afternoon watching television,

in the evening a pre-meal sherry,

Diana had a drink too, Malibu, bubbly and pineapple juice,

and do not forget the strawberry,

'Cheers!',

from both of us,

a little bubbly to help the evening along,

tonight's starter spicy chicken and prawns tempura,

eyes down and tuck in,

one more,

then start on the red, but not my usual cheap and cheerful plonk, I had a cunning plan, Steve and Kai over the past year brought a bottle of quality wine with them when they or just Steve visited, which I saved, until now! many thanks Steve and Kai,

for our main course a steak with vegetables,

all set and ready to start,

to round the meal off,

Belgian cocoa dusted chocolate truffles, we spent the evening listening to music and rounded it off with a 2 hour Sherlock Holmes special, The Hound of the Baskervilles, with the end of that we were off to bed, but before that, Merry Christmas!
