but as it as Sunday I did,
and here it is, if you click on to the map at the top left hand side, it will give you a breakdown of how many visitors have clicked on our page, and as of the morning for today it was 134, very impressive as unlike many other followings, every visitor has to make a deliberate click to look at our page, on to Sunday,
a read and a pre-meal sherry,
the flowers very nice this week,
normally Diana has all of today off, but late this afternoon she has to go in for an interview, to continue her advancement at her work, already she is a crew trainer and has just passed her first aid qualification exam that all managers must have, the exam has to be taken ever three years, back to our Sunday lunch,
a selection of prawns,
and a bubbly,
easy does it!
a quick pour,
and there it is, 'Cheers!',
for our main course today, gammon ham, Diana's with gravy,
mine without,
another 'Cheers!', before dessert,
and here it was, a toffee cream gateau bar, covered in fresh cream, delicious! after this delight it was time for Diana to get ready to go to her interview,
after she left I decided to watch The Prestige, I had seen it before but for me it is a great film, the plot is that Robert and Alfred are rival magicians, when Alfred performs the ultimate magic trick, Robert tries desperately to find out the secret to the trick, in a small role David Bowie plays Nikola Tesla, who we have much to thank for his discovery of AC electricity, as one person put it "The genius who lit the world" unlike the other electrical guy Edison, who tried to get the world dimly lit with DC current, also of note in the film is that Tesla did in fact stay at Colorado Springs, from 1899 to 1900 where he built a laboratory with a 200 kW transmitter, great film mixing fantasy with fiction and fact,
another part to the film that was fact was that Chung Ling Soo who Robert and Alfred went to watch was a real life person, next a Midsomer Murder, before the end of which Diana called so I was off to the bus stop,
arriving home a Murdock Mystery, coffee some panettone and we were off to bed.
