A Statement By Powerball,

“Since [September],

there have been 34 drawings in a row without a jackpot winner, Saturday's drawing will be the 35th draw in the jackpot run -- making this the longest streak without a jackpot winner in Powerball history", is it now the time to buy a ticket? I will leave that decision up to you, but with the combined jackpot for it and another drawing grows to about $1.4 billion this weekend, the Powerball pot, which was at $550 million for Wednesday's drawing, now grows to $640 million -- the fifth-largest in the game's history, so buy a ticket? or risk not winning! image nypost.com.

My tax accountant in February won $369 million powerball. She took lump sum of $267 million after taxes and retired at 61. So......it can happen to you! John and Alley

Dear John and Alley, it nearly did happen to us, last week we mentioned on the blog we won just over £7.00, if only we had guessed the other 6 numbers! best regards, Stan and Diana
