but this is the first time,
I have heard of a wolf in dogs clothing, and here he is above, but why? a zoo employee confirmed to Chinese publication Global
Times that there was indeed a dog in the wolf’s enclosure, but added
that the animal was only kept there temporarily. The Rottweiler was apparently
a watchdog used to prevent strangers trespassing into the yard, “There indeed was a wolf,” a member of the staff said, adding
that it had died of old age, and that the zoo didn’t have enough visitors to
keep the zoo up and running well,
the footage
shows a visitor to the Xiangwushan Zoo in Xianning, Hubei province, Central
China, visiting the wolf enclosure only to find a Rottweiler resting
inside went viral on Chinese social media last week. The man who recorded the
video, a certain Mr. Xu, can be heard saying “Woof! Are you a wolf?” to the
dog, which doesn’t seem to concerned with the fact that it looks nothing like a
wolf,
I have to say it, this reminds me of the zoo in Egypt that allegedly could
not afford a zebra so they painted a donkey with stripes! what was worse the
director of International Gardens park, Mohamed Sultan, was asked for an
explanation, Sultan flat-out denied rumours that the zebra at
International Gardens zoo was fake, despite multiple veterinarians confirming
that the animal in the photos was actually a donkey, even though the animal had
usually-long ears, and also lacks the characteristic mane of its species, so
that's alright then! for the full story have a look here.
